Travel for Free in Budapest During the European Championships!

The organizers of the upcoming Budapest 2025 European University Volleyball Championship to be held in Budapest from July 27 to August 3 will be offering a special gift to all participating teams and their official delegates: a 10-day free public transport pass for use throughout the city.

In less than a month, the Budapest 2025 European University Volleyball Championship will get underway, hosted by the Hungarian University of Sports Science (TF) and its sports club TFSE.

The organizers are offering a special gift to the participating teams and their official delegates: a 10-day seasonal public transport pass for use on Budapest’s entire network.

With practicality in mind, the pass will be integrated into the participants’ accreditation cards.

Although the accommodation and the competition venue are only three bus stops, or about eight minutes away, the pass will certainly be useful. After all, Budapest is one of the most beautiful capitals in the world. By taking advantage of the eco-friendly public transport system, visitors can easily explore every corner of the city — all while helping to protect the environment.

Speed is another important advantage, as Budapest’s eco-friendly buses operate on dedicated bus lanes, ensuring faster travel across the city.
